By accessing or using The Giving List, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services.

2. Description of Service

The Giving List is a platform that allows users to create charity gift registries for life events. Users can select verified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, and guests can donate to those charities as gifts.

3. User Accounts

To create a registry, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Donations

When making donations:

• Donations are processed by our nonprofit partners and are subject to their terms
• Tax-deductible receipts are provided by the receiving nonprofit organization
• Refund policies are determined by the nonprofit receiving the donation
• The Giving List does not handle or hold donation funds directly

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for fraudulent purposes
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Upload harmful, offensive, or illegal content
• Attempt to access other users' accounts
• Interfere with the proper operation of the service

6. Intellectual Property

The Giving List name, logo, and service design are our property. Content you create (registry stories, photos) remains yours, but you grant us license to display it as part of the service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the service will be error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Giving List shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
